The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

There is a difference in the aura of a wolf who was assured of their own station in life, their own power, and those that lacked any sort of surety at all. Loki was neither of those things, Blackthorne ponders, watching the suspicious look that he is given by the night crawler. Perhaps Thorne has been around boastful wolves for too long that he is unable to see a wolf who was simply assured in survival and nothing else or maybe Loki simply lacks a zest in life that made it appealing. He is reminiscent of Wraith, only Wraith talked like the dead and looked like one too. It was a shame he wasn't one. Yet. The matter of life and death was so fickle and easy changeable, especially when in the presence of a volatile temper such as Thorne's.

The boisterous grin that is given to Loki is met with a scowl which only furthers to deepen the grin into his muzzle. Whatever Loki is seeing and thinking was of curiosity to Thorne. He had met a few wolves who did not enjoy his exuberant flare for the dramatics. Mores the pity, he thinks. There was no stopping the Darkbringer or his flamboyant speeches. A chuckle erupts that echos in the spacious cavern, tail still lazily drawn across the water, enjoying the lack of depth in the voice of Loki. Well, mildly. He is rather wondering if the male is worth his time but he keeps listening because Loki is much more than Wraith on the information giving part.

Plus he admits that having a plan or a goal would be a good thing to have. "It seems to me that you have a plan already in mind. Find the female, find answers." He cocks his head, still looking foxish. "However, not quite as easy as that, eh? I have access to quite a bit of information, if you've a mind, and ask for but a few things in return." A dangle, a thread, would he take the bait? It is obvious he is suspicious of Thorne. Bright one, he was, and another chuckle is given before he hums in curiosity. "I know not of an Enderly or a Silas. Any further relations or areas? That is.... assuming you decide to use my resources."
