A way with words was never really his forte. He was too blunt, straight to the point. Or just a smartass by nature. There was a reason he'd never fancied himself a diplomat in his future. He knew he loved to fight and cause pain. He also loved to impress pretty girls, hence how he first ran into Belhara. She was the first girl he knew was worthy of him when she didn't scream as he jumped off the cliffs at Susil Crags when he was a yearling. Then he found her again at the riverside as he was walking across a branch over the river. She only seemed amused, maybe half hoping he would fall and break something. That was how she won his heart. No compassion, only a need for him to prove himself wrong. He loved a challenge and she was all that and more.

While he'd gone the way of guard and now thief, Bel had decided she wanted to be a healer. He was sure she was halfway decent at it. She had all the knowledge from watching the stars or whatever. He would never get it but it didn't hurt anything and who doesn't love a little crazy with their beautiful? She was everything in one witty package and he wouldn't trade her for anything. She was his and his alone. He chose to play his dramatics when he got to the den, throwing himself on the ground and calling out for the Angel of Death. When bel appeared above him, he blinked up at her as if seeing something so awe inspiring he couldn't fully comprehend it. "Angel...you have come for me. Is it my time?" He added in a deep groan as if in bad pain.

He let her look him over before she lowered her head and shrugged. Her words almost brought a grin to his face but he wanted to play a long a little longer. Leave it to her to speak of demons. She was certainly a demon, but she was one of the highest angelic proportions. Finally he looked up at her, his eyes gleaming before he grinned and offered her a wink. "Well, if you're the one to take me, I'll be the willing slave, as long as you promise to keep me cozy once we get there." His skin tingled with excitement as she growled, her muzzle moving to his neck before he heard an audible snap. His eyes lit up with a fervor as she asked about someone else and he could only guess she wanted to know who had done this to him. He rolled to his stomach with a sigh.

"Oh, just some little nosy prick. Remember that boy Zanon, Kahina and Boneskull's half brother or something? The one I had Boneskull spar with? Yeah, apparently the guy can't keep his nose out of a good kidnapping. He took one of my prizes." He poked out his bottom lip, obviously pouting as he looked at her. "Wanna help me get him back?"
