Eira was only slightly upset that Erebos wasn't going to have his friend play as well, but the feeling didn't last. She could only guess that her big brother needed to leave his friend on land because he didn't swim and couldn't learn. That was the logical thought process in her young mind. The brown and white girl was expecting to be shown, but when he said they would do... That was something she didn't quite realize would be a thing. Not that she was mad about it, in fact it was an exciting prospect. Learn by doing.
Even standing in the water, he was so much bigger! Eira looked expectantly to Badar before her mis-matched eyes went back to Erebos. Tentatively, she started to walk forward towards the older wolf, the water gradually creeping up her side as she did. Eira subconsciously started lifting her head as she got deeper, not quite realizing her next step would make things just deep enough for her to have her head nearly fully submerged.
The suddenness of that changes as she started to walk without actually touching the sand below startled her. It caused her to submerge briefly, but she instinctively kicked her paws in a manner that was akin to walking. When she resurfaced a second later, Eira sputtered momentarily before she realize what she was doing. The dual colored girl coughed once, having inhaled a little bit of salt water, as she started to paddle slowly towards Erebos, eyes wide with a strange combination of fear and wonder at swimming.
