Congratulations to Adrian on her promotion to Governess. She will handle the guidance and teaching of our young pups in Iromar.

It was obvious Blackthorne had a different opinion about attachments and what they’d gotten for Loki in the past. If anything, he seemed almost gleeful at the idea of someone getting hurt. Should Loki feel like that? Maybe he shouldn’t care so much about what happened with the female. He didnt really see it as a bad thing to begin with. He just knew he should be careful who knew about it cause others might feel bad about it. He could be targeted. He’d seen wolves get targeted for hurting other wolves. But Blackthorne seemed to feed off of the violence. “If you say so.” It was the only thing he could think of in terms of an answer. To agree would say he enjoyed it. But would that be so bad? He was starting to think maybe this pack Blackthorne was taking him to would feel differently than other wolves. Maybe he wouldn’t be a target after all.
It was obvious Blackthorne enjoyed what hed accomplished. He had a pack and others to follow. He was allowed to have his own ideas and opinions because he had power. The idea gave Loki goosebumps. Is that what power allowed? He got only a taste of it when he killed that female. Did he crave more?
Blackthorne seemed surprised that they were related. Loki was only finding out how small the world of Moladian actually was for him to have already run into a half brother and a nephew. He was searching for purpose. Was Blackthorne pointing him in the right direction? Only time would tell. He knew he must have other family out there but did he want to meet them all? Maybe not. There could be others like Underidge out there. But really how different was he? Shadow said Underidge was there when his father was killed. If he didnt move to help Enderly, then maybe he wanted him dead. Maybe he even commanded the female to do it. So he had power too. Did he have a pack? Loki was only coming to more questions. Blackthorne had reacted like he didnt like Underidge. Finally something Loki could relate to, not liking a relative. So Blackthorne wasnt like Underidge but he liked pain. So maybe they all weren’t so different after all.
Blackthorne looked almost pained as he admitted that Underidge was his father. Loki blinked in understanding. So he didnt like his father either. He didnt even want to admit to being related. Should Loki be like that about Enderly? He never had a problem with saying that was his father even though he didnt agree with how he treated others. Should he feel more hesitant to tell others? Oh well, thoughts for another day. Blackthorne said he hadn’t heard of Loki or Lokis father. “So Underidge doesnt talk a lot about his family.” He said he would go to Iromar with Blackthorne and the younger wolf looked pleased, calling him uncle again. It would take some getting used to. Loki nodded and followed. It wasnt long before his nose was assaulted with the smell of the swamp. He wrinkled his nose but continued following. So this would be home. He glanced around. It was weird to be in a pack. He usually avoided them. He could smell other wolves as they reached the border. Blackthorne had a good number of followers. And now he would count among those ranks. As Blackthorne turned to him, he gave his nephew his attention. “So....listen to you but do as I wish.” He tilted his head, wanting to make sure he got it right. His nephew spoke of a darkness in him. Could he see it? Did he already see what Loki had done? If he did, he didnt recoil from it. He seemed to rejoice over it. Maybe Loki was looking at it all wrong.
Suddenly Blackthorne was in his path, sitting down with a finality that told Loki he would be doing most of the talking. He stopped and glanced at Blackthorne. “Enderly was my father, Eris my mother. Enderly was not always with Eris though. He had other females, both before and after her. He may have even had another female on the side. I cant recall her name but I remember Eris coming back smelling of another female and she looked angry. Apparently the other female was dark and too forward with Enderly. I met another male, a pup who called himself Shadow. He said Enderly was killed by a female but Underidge was there. I met the female. She smells like she might be related to Underidge, to us. I didnt get her name. I had a brother named Silas. Enderly didnt like him. He often accused Eris of him not being Enderlys son. Underidge is my half brother. He has another mother but i dont know her name. I dont know my other siblings. Enderly didnt talk about any of them but Underidge. He called him crazy.” Replies:
Monarch
Pretty simple, Alpha of Iromar. Ultimate authority. What I say, goes.
Chief
The 'Co-Alpha'. He is her equal and has all the same authorities as she does. He is be respected and can take challenges and block steals.
Deputy
The Beta of Iromar. The most trusted wolf under the Alpha. Has all the same authorities of the Monarch in her absence. Second in command. Can block steals and take challenges.
Council
The advisor to the Monarch. One who's wisdom is often sought in matters of politics and war. Not necessarily an elder but someone the Monarch looks up to.
Trooper
The head warrior of Iromar. Shows the most skill in combat and has experience to back it up. Trains the soldiers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Stalker
The head hunter of Iromar. Shows the most skill in hunting and providing for the pack. Tasked with leading pack hunts and teaching the pups of the pack at designated times. Trains the hunters and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Medic
The head healer of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine. Tasked with checking on the Monarch/Deputy after a challenge and also keeping up with mothers around birthing time. Trains the healers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Envoy
The head diplomat in Iromar. Skilled in matters of politics and conversation. Intelligent and witty, this wolf keeps the pack together as one while reaching out to potential allies for support. Council is their direct supervisor. Trains the diplomats and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Governess
The guardian of offspring in Iromar. Skilled as a warrior and alert as a scout, this wolf is tasked with probably one of the most important jobs in Iromar, protecting the future of the pack and Moladian. They can watch the litter while the parents are off doing tasks, hunting, or just enjoying some quiet time. Can serve as guides for the pups, like having a full time guardian. Trains the teachers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Snoop
The head spy in Iromar. Skilled in maneuverability and blending in, this wolf must be a shadow when called upon. Tasked with finding out information about other packs or wolves when called upon, this wolf must be quick as well as witty, able to make anyone believe anything. Also serves as a thief when the need arises. Trains the spies and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Chronicler
The head story teller of Iromar. This wolf has done their research on all things Iromar and Moladian. They can give a good history lesson or spin a tale on demand when the younger minds call for distraction. Able to captivate an audience. May even help with speeches for the Monarch when necessary. No one to train but the pups or even adults of Iromar when they have questions or curiosity about the past. This wolf may even be called upon by the Council at times. Can block steals.
Soothsayer
The seer of Iromar. This is a special rank made specifically for a wolf with "the sight." Consider her an advisor/spy of sorts for the alpha and rest of the pack. She/he can gather intel from outside or supernatural forces. You don't have to believe in the magic of this ability for any wolf with this rank will be respected as a ranked member of the pack. Can block steals.
Warriors- Members of the Iromar army. Skilled in combat and overseen by the Trooper.
Hunters- Providers for Iromar. Skilled in scavenging and hunting.
Healers- Doctors of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine for those in need.
Diplomats- Extroverts of Iromar. Skilled in politics and overall conversation.
Spies- Scouts and thieves of Iromar. Skilled in blending in and masking themselves when called upon.
Teachers- Guardians of the youth of Iromar. Skilled in defense and culture. They shape the young minds of the future.
Children-The pups of Iromar. To be cherished as they are precious for the future of the land. Shape them and mold them into something we can all be proud of.
Members- Overall pack members of Iromar. Not specialized in a particular field yet but just as important to the population.
