Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Her scent is familiar, as is the tension that seems to build in the air when she arrives. I cannot help but believe she bring some kind of storm with her just to spite her past. I do have to admit - I'm a little surprised that she has come back. When she came seeking aid after her defeat, she as just as fast to find a new path to go down...I had never expected it would lead her back here. Ah, not when there is much more fascinating chaos in all other directions. I suppose, in a way, I am a little flattered.

There are several wolves I have a preference to not leave waiting and she seems to be one of them - or perhaps I am simply drawn instinctively to the particular nature of her aura. Volatile, unpredictable, satisfactorily unhinged. Whatever it is, I find myself jogging towards her with surprising haste as she settles in the tree line - it is her humming, though, that catches me off guard. I pause mid-stride for a moment, ears up and head tilted as a sly smirk unfurls on my face. It is the same hum of Ava and Eva - I wonder what part of her soul the sound comes from though?

"You sing a surprisingly peaceful tune," I finally address her as I find myself in motion again, stepping towards her and taking a place adjacent to her. I consider her for a moment, observing the nuance of her fur parting to reveal aeon old scars. "Compared to the last time I saw you, at least."
