Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

To say she was excited to see him was an understatement. Corona was ecstatic. Since losing mother's trail in the lands beyond Moladion she had grown more and more discouraged with every step she took that lead her back to the lands she was born into. She did not remember much of father, he really wasn't a steady figure in her young life... vaguely she imagines that perhaps at one point in her life... before she was able to see beyond making out simple shapes and shadows... he was there... but not like mother had been. Grant it, Eclipse was not the best of mothers... but she was not the worst either. She provided for her pups until she didn't. Lucky for them, they were old enough to fend for themselves by this point. But nonetheless Corona was pretty much at the lowest point in her young life. She wished her knew where mother was... and had been determined to find her... but in her stubborn quest to find a wolf who clearly left her young without a second thought, she had lost the two other most important wolves in her life.... her brothers.

Though like most siblings they did not always get along, regardless of what happened, Corona knew she could always rely on her brothers to be there for her and support her and defend her when she got into trouble which was quite common. Even now she cannot help but to think back to the time she decided to investigate a badger hole.... one in which the old grizzled badger didn't quite appreciate being awaken by a nosey pup. He had come out of the den after her with a fierce snarl and (in her eyes anyway) dripping fangs hungry for blood.... and it had been Saros and Prometheus who raced forward and placed themselves fearlessly between her and the old creature. Corona will never forget the way Saros looked with his hackles raised and fur bristled from head to tail, death in his eyes as he fearlessly stared down the badger until with a huff and a snort it turned and disappeared back down the hole it had charged out of. It was that day that Corona knew no matter what happened in her life, she must stay close to her siblings... they were home. But then she had taken off after mother and lost them. More than her love for her mother that had broken her spirit. She loved her siblings, probably more than she loved her mother.

Though Prometheus was still missing, finding Saros brought a renewed hope to her eyes and the little darkling could not stime the excitement that bubbled from her. He laughs at her excitement and Corona cannot help but to smile herself. Saros was always the more serious one, and she was glad to see he hasn't changed. Atleast not much. Like herself he had grown since last she saw him, though there were still some signs of the lanky pup still left here and there, for the most part, like herself he had filled out with lean muscle and thick, sleek winter fur.

He gave her his typical answer that neither explained anything but between them... it told her enough. He had been wandering much like herself... except he didnt make his wandering a personal mission to find mother like she had. He asked where she had been and she shrugs her shoulders, giving her thick coat a quick shake to rid it of the snow that already clung to the course hairs of her outer coat. "I went off after mom... but I couldn't find her." she said, a hint of sadness and dejection in her voice. She had hoped that she would find mother and maybe she could at the very least get an explanation as to why she left from the she-wolf, but well there wasn't anything that could be done about it now.

Her ears do perk up as he speaks about following a wolf into one of the packs. She didnt know much about the packs or the lands they called home... but if Saros felt like it was a place worth while, then it must be. She did always tend to follow his judgement on serious matters anyway. He was good at that sort of thing.

He invites her to come with him, a teasing smirk planted firmly upon his lips and Corona cant help but to reciprocate with her own sly grin and raised brow, teal blue eyes glittering with mischief. "Are you kidding me? Do you HONESTLY think I would let you go join a pack without me? Ive got to keep an eye on you TOO!" she barks, her black and cream tail rising above her back, still wagging with excitement. "I JUST found you... Im not about to let you get out of my sight anytime soon.... especially since I cant find mother or Prometheus. We gotta stick together" she says with a definitive nod. She was not about to lose him... not now... not to anyone..
