Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He was sure she could pick up on his true emotions, even as he tried to choose his words so carefully when he spoke. Their bond was strong so just as he could feel when she was hurting or upset, he knew she'd be able to tell he was a bomb with a short fuse upon hearing about this male that didn't return her affections. She chuckled and nudged his shoulder and he wondered if the touch was meant to soothe his anger because it did help. He would defend her at a moment's notice just as he would Triton or Inanna or Samia, his sister. But something was holding her back from letting him exact justice. He had to believe it was because she still had feelings for the male in Taviora. He didn't believe he deserved it at this point after all he put her through but she couldn't turn off her emotions. He knew that. Finally she thanked him and licked his cheek, telling him she didn't want either of them hurt. She said the male couldn't control his heart just like they couldn't. Thor shifted his weight.

He knew what she said was true but that didn't make him any less inclined to do some damage. Yes, you love who you love, but did he have to go and impregnate her with his children, first? Thor thought of that as a very intimate act. He would never do that with anyone but his mate so what happened with the other male? Thor had to believe he was a coward or a monster, to give into such base urges knowing he would never ask her to stand at his side as his equal. It just infuriated Thor every time he thought about it. He scowled. "You're right, but he could control his actions. Why father children with someone you don't love?" He didn't mean to hurt her with his words. He just couldn't understand what the male was thinking. She said that the male was still unsure of his heart when he mated her that winter but Thor only shook his head. "That doesn't make it right. He should have not touched you unless he could reciprocate your feelings." The words growled out of him.

Maybe he was being a bit judgey but when it came to Talien, it had to be the best. He had already decided she deserved a lot better. When he offered for her to come to Glorall any time she wanted, she tried to act disgusted but he could see the tease in her eyes. He laughed. "Easy, groom yourself every once in a while. Plus there's a stream on the other side of the pack that's fresh water. I swim in it at least once a week to get the saltiness out of my coat." He offered pointers. She said she would come more often now that her kids were grown and he grinned in excitement. She said she'd like to meet his sister and catch up with Inanna. She wanted to learn herbs and stories about him. He laughed. "Well you know, I never mind talking about myself but I admit, Inanna's a much better story teller." He smirked. Then Talien told him that she wasn't surprised Inanna didn't tell him they'd already met, something about some juicy stories. He scowled. "I know what you're doing....not gonna work on me!" He shook his head. But he still looked a little worried. What could they have talked about? What could Inanna have told her about him?

He could tell he had helped reassure her with her son Eztli. He smiled, glad that he could comfort her in this. He could tell he had given her a lot to think about. When he asked if she'd liked to meet Triton now, she cheered up and said that she'd like to see who much like Thor he was. He smiled and nodded. "He's definitely's Inanna's son too. He's got her sweet nature and sense of adventure." She licked his cheek again and he chucked before following her up the beach. He bounded after her up the dunes, stopping to ler her shake out her coat. Then she added that she didn't want to interrupt anything the alpha might have him doing. He snorted. "I doubt it. Triton is into everything. And Eden won't mind." He said before throwing his head up and calling out for Triton. It wasn't long before he could hear his son racing their way. He smirked at the figure approaching, cutting his gaze to Talien. "Incoming."

He smirked as Triton stopped before them, greeting both. Thor nudged his head toward Talien. "Triton, I'd like you to meet someone important to me. I know you've heard about imprints. This is my imprint, Talien. Talien, this is my son, Triton."
