The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

The weather was once more changing, bringing a warm air to the forests everywhere. Flowers were blooming, trees and shrubs were growing. Young animals were growing up and becoming more independent. It was a beautiful time in the forest, and most animals were getting out to stretch from hibernation through the winter, or to just enjoy the warmer weather. But Cersei was one of the few beings that didn’t like the spring, in fact she hated it. Seeing everyone so happy and all the young animals growing up just reminded her of the past that she had lost. She had once been a happy and sometimes even kind wolf, but that was no longer the case. Everything that she had loved and had given her joy in life had been taken away from her. Now there was nothing but hate left in her heart, and it made her angry and aggressive. It started when her pups were taken from her, an act that no mother should ever have to go through. It turned her mad, and eventually turned her against the rest of her pack.

Cersei’s life had once been easy. She was the princess and everything that she ever wanted had been given to her. She still trained and leaned how to fend for herself, otherwise she wouldn’t be proper wolf. But if she decided one day that she wanted something, it was given to her in a heartbeat. The blonde princess had also been blessed by finding the love of her life at an early age. To many her lover would not be accepted and their relationship was frowned upon, but she couldn’t help that she had fallen for her twin brother. And he shared that love for her, and they had started a beautiful family together. They had had three pups, two boys and a girl, and they became Cersei’s whole life. But her life was not meant to be the happy fairytale that it appeared. Her pack was at war with many other packs, and her and her brother being heirs to the throne put that as major targets. Others knew that Cersei loved her young more than anything else, and so they had been the victims. They had been viciously tortured and murdered, all because they had parents that were special. They were too young to even know much about the world yet, and all they got to know was pain and suffering before they were killed. Her father, the pups grandfather, had a chance to save them. If he had just submitted to his enemies then her pups would have been saved. But her family was far too proud for something like that, and so he had let them die, knowing it would happen.

That was the beginning of the end of Cersei’s life with her pack. She turned on her father, attacking him and trying to take him out for what he had let happen to her precious pups. But she did not have the support behind her. She did see one brief moment of compassion from the king though, he banished her rather than killing her for what she had attempted to do. Turning to her brother and mate for support, assuming that he would back her up or leave with her, but she had been wrong. Her brother would not leave the pack, would not betray their father as she had done, so he had been the one to drive her out. Abandoned by her love, and her first borns no longer with her, Cersei knew she would never return to her home lands. For years she lived alone, her anger and hate festering and growing until it drove out all sane humanity that she had left. The female trained herself until she had the impressive physique of a warrior, one that would never need to rely on another to protect her again. She trained by hunting the most difficult prey…her own kind. It was not natural for wolves to hunt other wolves, but in her maddened state it brought her pleasure. Everytime that she tracked down another lone wolf, she pretended it was one of her enemies. Her father, her brother, one of the other beasts that had taken her young. Some days she killed them quickly if her rage took over, but other days she made them suffer.

It was in these times that she heard whispers about another, a male that showed similar tactics to her own. Could it be that she was not mad but had just not yet found the right wolves to live with? She began to seek out this mysterious male, wanting to know if there was any truth to these rumors. The blonde warrioress took her time hunting down this male, but eventually she found the pack that he had claimed. At least she assumed it was him. There was the scent of blood on the borders, and it was clear that some unpleasantries had occurred here. But the extent of what had happened, she did not know. Paws paused at the edge of the border, the unique scent of the male entering her nares. With a large inhale of breath, the femme raised her muzzle to the sky, alerting the beast to her presence. Whether he was nearby to greet her soon or not, she would need to find out. But she had been alone a long time, and could be patient waiting for him, waiting to see if the rumors were true.
