Large was an understatement, her abdomen was clearly defined. The fact she was carrying life wasn’t a thing she had been able to hide by scent and even site betrayed this now. Although she had spent most of her time around her den closest to where the path led to the sea Sekhmet grew tedious expanding her jaws snapping with tension. She had a hunger for lupine flesh and nothing would sate it. She hadn’t known Kweku to be a hunter of wolf flesh yet perhaps one of those who consumed flesh would bring it to her. Perhaps her sire or mother would find themselves from being intertwined and seek to bring something by and yet something within the deep told her to take instead. It was life, she needs to take it. With this and her pact with death, she set out. In the dead of night eager to ease the gnawing. What a way to bring agony than to watch it fade along with the light in their eyes.
She moved north the scent of another lingered just off in the distance. It was not a pack member nor did the scent around it match her own so neither was it a guest. Her large forum jogged closer not aiming to expect too much of her own energy she poked around the den a loner had invaded. The cries and whimpers caused her ears to pick forward as she spoke softly in her ancient tongue;
Cleaning her self to be pristine and caving in the den Sekhmet marked the den and moved to spread her scent further. No one was likely around to see her deeds and perhaps that is something she was pleased about. With the knowledge of pups in the pack this season she didn’t need the mothers to dispute with her. A deep sigh she trotted making her rounds taking intermittent breaks between her travels. Soon She made it towards the southern border closest to Diveen as the wins picked up into gusts. Her howl rippled through the air, an invitation to her packmates of sorts expressing the fact she was welcoming to some company. Settling herself under one of the sparse trees in the field of flowers she laid with her large belly showing, after all, she was unafraid and would still fight. Especially for the pups that that had yet to see the world.
