Erebos had been the one to introduce her to the water but she had been the one to make the decision to continue returning to it. Each day, before the water had grown too dark and cold, she had found herself wading in its depths, tempting further and further out as she grew stronger. Even in the den, she dreamed of the waves and the rivers that fed into the ocean. She dreamed of her place among them, so much so that she did not stir at first or even when Zion climbed over and out to the den's mouth. It was only when she noticed his absence that she stirred and sniffed her way out of the den and after his trail.
She had not heard their father's call and so, she found herself mildly surprised when she followed onto the shoreline and found her brother and he. He seemed to want to show them something and so, she did not hesitate to dash forward, her tail swinging behind her before she dragged herself along Zion, almost cat-like in her affection before she nipped at his ear. As for her father, she refrained from such things and instead offered him a toothed grin of intrigue as her eyes darted towards the ice.
Often, she had looked out to the island in hopes of some day reaching it. Though it was, in truth, a short swim, she had yet to grow brave enough to challenge the channel that cut it off from the mainland. But the ice? Ah, it made a bridge! And so she was suddenly filled with awe at the idea of being given the chance to finally explore her little dream.
