Hazel eyes watched with glee as Eurig dove down into his bag, arms practically buried within the fabric as he filtered and sorted through all of the hidden treasures within it. She was practically bouncing in her seat as he pulled out several gems, holding them out to her with a look of pride upon his face. Her eyes widened with awe as she cast him a look before her attention was taken by the gems. She moved to eagerly give Neptune's mane a gentle tug, practically forcing him nose down so that he could look at the gems as well. "Euri! They are so pretty!How do you always find the best ones?" Her little fingers gently danced over the gemstones, touching them with reverence as though they were the most important things in the world.
Eurig picked one up between his fingers, moving closer so that their shoulders brushed against each other. When he spoke, his voice full of pride and knowledge, Xebyni found herself entranced, hanging onto his every word. He passed the gemstone to her, a delighted laugh forming upon her tongue as he handed it to her. She listened intently as he described the gem, gently handling it between her fingers, eyes drawn into the way the light danced upon it. "It's amazing!" She whispered as she gently rolled it between her fingers. She looked up as he spoke again, her eyes wide with pure childish joy. "Oh EURI! They would be so PRETTY! I could pair this with a sparkly silver bow, or brighten up a plain white, or..." Her words cut off as he spread his hand out again, this time lined with the bits of jewelry he had created out of gems. "You...you mean it? You would....I could...really?" Hazel eyes seemed to glow with excitement as she looked at his work, her mind racing as she tried to figure out just what she would want.
It was then that she realized she had yet to give her dearest friends their gifts. Hiding them behind her back, she gave them each a choice of numbers. Aneira quickly spoke up, claiming the number she knew was Eurig's favorite. She listened as he spoke, the sigh heavy in his voice. She was about to pull them out when she felt something tugging at one of the bows, freeing it from her hands. Turning to look she saw Ruby with the sparkly gold bow between her beak, causing her to laugh as Eurig spoke.
"I guess Ruby gets the sparkly one!" She giggled before moving to Aneira, setting the lace one down upon her front paws. "We can put it on you in a minute, Ane." She them moved to Eurig, placing the vibrant metallic gold one in his lap before wrapping him up in a hug and placing a chaste kiss upon his cheek. "And Euri gets this one! It's my favorite! I hope you all like them!" She giggled as she moved to sit back down beside him. She reached down into her pocket and pulled out two lollipops offering one to Eurig before unwrapping her own and sticking it in her mouth.
"So Euri! Did you really mean you would make me something?"
