Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

MEN SHOULD KEEP THEIR WORD,

A warm summer breeze brushed through the brute’s silvery grey pelt as large paws carried him through the trees. It had been some time since he had a chance to go out and explore the lands. Being a father had been an exciting but exhausting experience. Not only did he have four pups to look after, but his mate was tied to the night. After the difficult birthing that she went through there was no other choice but to have her turn if they wanted her to live. Grey Wind still remembered the fear and panic that has ran through him when he saw all the blood, an a part of him felt that she would never survive this. But Macaria had always been a strong wolf, and she had survived the birth as she survived everything else she went through. Since he had met her she had become different, more independent and aware of what the real world was like. So to the male it was not that much of a difference that he saw in her when she turned. Some would be disturbed and turned off by the fact that they were now sharing a den with a vampire, but it didn’t bother Grey Wind. As long as he had Macara it didn’t matter what she was like.

Raising pups in a nocturnal setting made life interesting. Macaria and Grey Wind could male the transition because they understood why it was happening, but it was not something that they had yet explained to their young. So of course the pups began to explore during the day, wandering further and further away from the den. He knew that they were big enough to do some things on their own, but he still didn’t want them going out much by themselves if he could help it. The thought of all the horrors and evil that lived in the world meeting up with them was too high of a risk, and he didn’t want anything bad to ever happen to them. He couldn’t imagine his life without them now, and he would be with them to protect them as long as he could. But tonight the brute had taken a break from being a father and he left the foursome with Macaria, even though his mind kept wandering back to them. Were they okay? Were they causing trouble? What were they up to. But he tried to push those thoughts away to enjoy the peaceful moment that he had.

Lightly colored scaled limbs walked through the tall grass as he enjoyed the lightly warm breeze. The sun had set and it was well into the night, so it was not a burning heat that midday brought. Flowers and foliage was all around him as he wandered aimlessly, not having a purpose for once. The moon was particularly bright tonight, and it made the earth around him seem to almost glow. At first he thought this was just from the moon and stars, but the deeper that he wandered into the field, the more of an uneasy feeling he got. Something was off here, not evil, but…different. His instincts had always been good, and this time they were telling him that something was off. Before he could think on it more or analyze the glowing foliage more, there was an intense shake under his paws…and then it all went black.
