The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Oh I May be on the Side of Angels. But Don’t for a Second Think I’m One of Them.

The unique male felt his large wings move at his back, and a shiver went through, letting parts of them appear as a small tease. He didn’t yet release their full length or size, knowing that they would come as a shock to the two before him, and he wanted to wait for the right moment for their impressive form to appear. Nyfiken knew they were incredibly impressive, large and powerful, just like himself. To some he would appear as a weird looking beast, but he was much more than that. He loved that he was unique looking, it matched his unique character. But he never truly appreciate how unique he was until these two wolves appeared before him, so much different looking than he. Milky teal orbs looked over the two strangers that had approached him, hearing that apparently one of them was royal blood. They seemed surprised by his form, so they must not have come out here and found him by chance. And to him, it was a good thing for them. They should consider meeting him an honor. There were very few who would have the pleasure to meet such a magnificent specimen.

The male spoke up, showing more of his wings to them to show them what it meant to be called a Chiroptera. As he said his breed, he heard a growl from the male that had appeared, and his large yellow tipped audettes swiveled to the sound, but he said nothing as the stranger went on to speak. “Do all your kind live in caves like bats?” Nyfiken finally turned to face the other male. He didn’t like his tone, as if this stranger was judging him already. To the winged creature his way of life was normal and made since, it was those that lived outside that didn’t make sense to him. At least not yet. But he was not judging these two foreigners. With a slight annoyed tone to his voice, he muttered out a response. ”Yes, we were all born here.” Nyfiken had never been one to talk much or give much away, even when directly asked. So he said no more on the matter. The male went to go on and explain more, but the female went on to really say who they were. But then she went on and on with more and more names. The male had to refrain from rolling his eyes at her, as if all of these foreign names meant something to him or would impress him. Having connections to multiple wolves meant nothing to him. It was just more people to have as enemies or to betray you. The male had never really had a friend before, and he didn’t understand the point of them. There were too many unexplained ways to hurt someone’s feelings, something that Nyfiken didn’t understand. It was just too tiresome to even bother, so he only half listened to some of her words. But he focused back in with the change in her tone as she asked him questions once more. It was not common that Nyfiken didn’t know something, and it frustrated that him that he had never heard of these lands or this clan. But that was part of what pushed him towards leaving the caves. He needed to know about everything in the world, and he was missing a big portion of it. ”No, I have not.” He spoke in a clipped tone, not used to admitting that he didn’t know something, and saying it to a stranger was not the way he wanted things to go.

Yayoi went on to give him an even better than the lonely wanderings he had planned on doing. His milky tainted orbs lit up with excitement at her words. He by no means trusted her, but could he learn from her? Perhaps. And that was what was most important, was knowledge. “...Are you interested? Or do you wish to know nothing else of this new world you have a adventured up into?” Before he had a chance to reply, Eisukuro spoke up once more. “…Surely a smart wolf such as yourself is interested in the opportunity to explore this land and all its wonders without the threat of peril?” It was clear that they were trying to entice him to join their ranks. But why? They knew nothing of him and what he was like. He could be a murderer or thief for all they knew. And yet they were basically begging him to come with them. He knew that he would be a great asset to any pack, but they had no reason to know that. At least not yet. Unless it was his mere appearance that had impressed them already enough to make them want him. Which he wouldn’t entirely blame them for either, it would make any pack better to have a Chiroptera in their ranks. Nyfiken knew that it was time for him to go out and leave the caves, but did he want to go into a pack where there were certain rules and other things to live by that he felt were foolish? He didn’t want to report to anyone else, and he wanted the freedom to do as he pleased. But could he really learn enough about the world on his own? Would he miss crucial information if he didn’t have someone that had already lived in these lands? Finally after a few moments in silence where he did not look to either of the strangers, the winged male spoke up. ”I do not fear the world or those that live in it. This peril you speak of is no matter. And surely I could learn of this world on my own as well, it is not as if I am confined to these caverns if I do not agree to your terms.” He paused for a moment, figuring out how best to next word his thoughts. ”However, it may be beneficial to have a proper guide, for the beginnings at least. So I will come to explore this pack and see how I feel from there. See if it can hold any interest to me after living in a different world for so long.” Standing to his full height, which was shorter than both of the other wolves, he took a few strides closer to them, waiting to see if either would take the lead or if he would have to do it.
