It seemed she already knew of his struggle with the pestering Spirane wolves, telling him that they stole her hunt once. He shook his head, making a "tsk tsk" noise in his throat. "It's a damn shame, but they're not the only persistant hunters in Moladian." His eyes darkened with promise. Oh, he would get prisoners and make it count. She asked of his ultimate goal and he tilted his head for a moment, thoughtful. "To plant doubt and cause more of a reaction. I want them on the borders, either to declare us an enemy or try to form some sort of peace treaty. I want them to fear for the safety of their numbers if they don't do something. I want to scare them into action." When she asked if she could assist, he swished his tail. He wasn't used to his alpha asking how to help him. Usually, it was always the other way around. He liked to work alone so that didn't bother him but it was a pleasant surprise for his alpha to be so supportive and even want in on the action.
"Maybe we need more than one wolf in on it. Someone harassing them at their very borders or stalking their pack wolves in the free lands. Maybe we need more angles covered." He lifted a brow, figuring she got his hint. Maybe she could give other pack wolves tasks to help with this or even have some fun herself with it. In his opinion, it was all just fun and games, terrorizing other wolves. He was surprised she was still so in tune to what he was doing even though she had pups to raise now. She was a good multi tasker, it would seem. Cuirass was supportive of this. For a moment, she seemed to study him and he held his ground but his ears flicked back, not so used to the intensity of her gaze. Then she asked if he needed something. He was about to shrug it off, knowing she couldn't really help him with his personal problems, but then she said they should hunt some time and his lips drew back in a welcome grin and his eyes lit up at the idea of some fresh meat.
"I'll be ready to take you up on that any time." He was curious what it would be like to hunt with his bulky alpha. She was a well built machine. He could tell just by look and by watching her on the last pack hunt. For a moment, she grew thoughtful herself, almost broody. It was obvious whatever she was thinking about left a bad taste in her mouth. Raindrops started hitting the ground with more force around them and Cuirass could feel his fur starting to plaster to his skin. He shook out what he could, but honestly he never minded a little storm every now and then. He was observent of his alpha though and he noted when her gaze settled on something in the grass off to the side. His ear flicked in that direction and though he didn't look, he was watching the alpha's face. She seemed content after a few moments, but he caught the flash of recognition. They were not alone anymore, but whoever it was, it didn't mean danger. Cuirass knew the scents of most of the pack wolves but the light perfume that came with the breeze was not one he recognized. That left it to only a few select individuals that the female before him would be content with. He wondered if a hild lurked nearby. His tail swished and his ear remained trained on the grass but otherwise, he gave no notion that he knew anything.
