Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

where she walks

no flowers bloom

daria’s existence was a simple one. the mental oddity of her father’s bloodline had been passed on to her, and it showed. not only in her manner of speaking, but in the collecting, and the childlike innocence in her teal gaze. she was a solitary creature, and that didn’t bother her very much. daria had grown fond of her Things and the comforting haze of orange that they swept through her, perhaps a bit too comfortable. there were probably a handful of others who knew about her existence, and if she was lucky, one of those would make their way to her.

the feeling of being approached rolled down her back and she gave herself a tiny shake, twisting her crown to scan the beach beside her. opalescent eyes landed on a tall, dark stranger approaching and she tipped her head to the side in curiosity until her gaze caught the unforgettable blood orange taking command of the man’s face. sunshine yellow bloomed across her concious and spread like warm honey throughout her, red tipped tail thumping gently against the sand as he approached. he was not quite so large as she remembered, but still as utterly fascinating. she had been more social in the time she was away, but none of those passing by was as interesting as New Other. a vague, questioning feeling passed through her as she thought of her leaving, but it was gone before she had time to grab hold and prod at it like she would a beached fish.

he was suddenly before her, and a broad smile spread across her narrow face. his voice washed over her, and it took her a few minutes to formulate what it was she wanted to say. her vocabulary had grown with her, but the ability to speak correctly hadn’t come yet - and probably never would. ”no,” she agreed at last, ”bigger now. collect bigger Things.” as if to prove her point, she touched a white tipped paw to the antlers before her, a violet wave of pride coloring her mind as her gaze fell to them. ”will bring Someone to Sir Eden,” she told him seriously, blue eyes lifting over his shoulder to stare at the ocean behind him. ”will share, but want to collect for Home,” she added a moment later, remembering her promise to share with him from when she was so very small and he seemed like the largest thing in the world.
