Bastet had not been on any grand adventures, she had not even followed her own siblings out when they decided to act and make a move for the vast world beyond her home. Maybe it was because she was comfortable staying within the packs reaches, however, today it changed. She wanted to see something new and when the mostly darkened slipped passed the borders, Bastet tilted her head before darting forward to tail the boy, after all, he was from the pack so surely he would be interesting and maybe even worth the shadowing for an adventure.
While she was moving she thought she was crafty enough but soon the male turned and growled at her. Her fur bristled and a tooth showed in surprise. “I was not following you. I was just going the same direction!” Bastet said confidently. Her ears drew back slightly before sighing as her smaller figure approached him leaving the cover she had been using to spy on the boy. “The truth is, my siblings are bold and enjoy going out of the pack alone. I saw you leave and thought maybe it would be fun to go with someone else. Going alone never seemed all that interesting to me.” Bastet admittedly did not expect a fight so she simply shifted on her paws looking curiously to see what he might have to say.
