Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

The journey had been a short but albeit uncomfortable one for Asriel. He remained silent, following his trail back to the scene of where he had freed Moteuh paw step for pawstep. It wasn’t far, probably not as far as his father would have expected, but how else would a wolf who was part of Iromar travel back and fourths so easily. The passed the grotto’s entrance, and by then rain had started falling heavily over the area. Slowly his crime was being cleaned of him as the moved and he was almost as pristine as when he had found her. He could still taste her in his mouth though. Asriel still wondered if he should have told his father of what he done as well… How he was acting, it made the younger grey male regret it.

Skirting around the borders of Iromar, and just beyond the boundaries of the grotto, Asriel’s paws found the stone and earth of the Crags. He moved along the path automatically, and soon, just a few minutes jog away from the Iromar border he had found the place where she had been kept. It had been a few hours now since his departure and return, but he could tell someone had been here. Their scent was washed away with the rain, but things were disturbed that he would have sworn he didn’t touch. What about Moteuh? Had she been touched? He moved down the path, and there, in the shallow cave she still laid. He noted the disturbed lily that he had placed on her form and in the dry of the cave the scent was stronger. It had been here not long ago, but now had gone. Her twisted body was still how he had left it mostly.

There she was, her legs, back, and form twisted. What he couldn’t show his father was her broken mind as well. There was no proving that, other than maybe the fact she had never tried to find them herself or otherwise break free from all this mess. He looked to his father, her body there, adult in size but very clearly a tangled mess. The only way someone could survive this way was if they were taken care of by someone, and they had been by and apparently not too happy about the situation. Asriel looked at the scene passively. Her throat was still stained with blood, but his copper eyes wandered away from her to his father and off towards where the scent seemed to go. They would lose track of it easily in this weather, Asriel wanted to find them too… but he wasn’t sure what he would do when he found them. Kill them too? Why? What purpose would that give him now other than making them pay for causing his sister to suffer for so longer than she needed too. Keeping her trapped in that body.

Cold filled his body and his eyes snapped back to his father, as if waiting for something to happen to him. His father was here, he now sees her laying there. Does he understand? Will he make Asriel pay for doing this to Moteuh? His father could probably over power and kill him easily. Asriel never learned to fight really, he was strong but never really used his strength to kill anything more than prey, until Moteuh… and she slipped away so easily. Unable to fight back, do anything but rasp and scramble her twisted legs against him. The thought of her body like that and alive made his stomach churn. Now… they matched. It was… easier to look at her now dead than it had been alive where she didn’t remember him and sounded like something death should have taken the day she had ‘died’ for the rest of them. Still Asriel supposed if his father deserved death for this, then he did and he would accept that if it happened. He just had to wait for his Father's judgement to pass.
