Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

The tears we cried are echos
Valkyria
that tell us what tomorrow will hold

Her family was in tatters it felt like. Everything was… a mess. What had happened to the proud angel family she was born too all those years ago? Her grandfather, Heyel was alive, telling them stories, her parents both young and powerful. Now Valkyria was older than her parents were when she was born even. It seemed so far away now, and she had left thinking none of it would change. Her father had gained power, her mother the proud queen of Diveen and Val just left thinking nothing would ever change that so long as the two strong parents she knew stood there. Time… was a terrible disease she learned though. Time made her parents older and frail. Made it so when her father was attacked he couldn’t have killed his attacker with ease, her mother was shattered, like a ghost of what she used to be with their father… gone for lack of better words. She returned to have a relative she didn’t know sitting on the throne, and even that didn’t last long before she handed it to Arturio. If anything Valkyria guessed he looked the part of her nobel lines, and he also didn’t seem all that bad, but it wasn’t what it was. Not only that, Jaeger had been killed, Hyrule has been gone for now longer than she had been, and Myhrr left with his imprint, then Valkyria heard all about her middle sister… Vitalyia had betrayed them. So much had changed, Val hardly even knew her younger siblings either.

This place though, hadn’t changed at all.

This place was where when she as a pup watched her mother kill an attacking demon. Grabbing her so cleanly by the jugular and snapping it as if she were no more as a doe. It was so scary, but also empowering to see her small mother handle something like that. It was why Valkyria had become an assassin herself, trained with her mother from that day. A chill ran down Valkyria’s spine. Unlike her mother Val’s first assassination while she was running around outside of Moladion hadn’t gone as smoothly. While hidden by her fur unless she lifted her head up there was a thin line scar underneath her jaw line where she herself almost got had. While not as vain like her mother, Val wasn’t exactly a fan of failure, she didn’t want to lack any ability that her mother had in taking down enemies.

She stared at the place where it all happened. Bright green eyes wandered the area lingering on the spot where the body had lay still once she had died. Her mother told her she deserved it, she was a cannibal, a monster, who threatened innocents. One thing that stuck in Val’s mind was her mother had no mercy. She didn’t pin down the wolf or fight her off, she just outright killed her for trying to harm them. Val’s black ears twitched then. Not far off she heard the soft crunching of the frosted grass under what was unmistakably wolf paws. ”Doing some early morning wandering, Stranger?” There was a bit of an accent to her voice, anyone who was familiar with angels might have picked up on it. Still she didn’t turn to look at who was approaching, she was going to find out if they were friend or foe first.
