She must have heard him cause after some time of running, the older female finally slowed down and turned back to face him. Eldrax pulled up out of breath and panting. His ribs were aching now but it was a good kind of ache. Yay, she wanted to talk to him! He could make a new friend! He didn't really have many of those, not unless you counted his siblings and family members in Spirane. He did...sort of. But they were kind of obligated to be his friends, right? He wanted to make some new ones and she even smelled like another pack so even better! As he got closer, she gave a smile and he was eager to return it, even with his tongue still lolling out. His tail wagged behind him as he pricked his ears. She said that she didn't see him and she didn't want to stick around. He snorted and shook his head. "That was a good call. He's not very friendly, though I've tried to change that many times." He finally shrugged, like it was a lost cause. But then he brightened right back up, beaming at her with twinkling eyes. She said that she hoped she didn't bother him and she was on her way out of the pack. That sobered his expression a little, his tail slowing just a little in its wags. He didn't want her to leave just yet! She said there was nothing like that in Glorall and he put the name away for later. So she was definitely from another pack then! How exciting! She gave her name as Tikal and ask who he was so he straightened up, feeling he should be proud of who he was. "I'm Eldrax! And you're from Glorall? How cool! What's it like? No, you didn't bother me, not at all! I was just trying to warn you about the ram. See, I consider myself sort of like their guardian. I'm friends with one of the baby goats, Tyson. We sort of grew up together. How long have you been in Spirane? Are you going to come back?" He said it all in one breath, seemingly unphased when he had to stop and catch his breath.
