Yin

Winter had always been a most fun season for Yin! But sometimes she found herself having to avoid Meryl lest she become tempted to make more Ame and Yuki's, a sad thing that dampened the winter mood at times. It was not that she did not enjoy frolicking in the snow by herself or with other Diveen wolves but she had to admit, Meryl did make it all that much more fun for her. Even just lingering by his side or putting her muzzle on top of his head while he slept made her heart purr and flutter like a tiny bird. But when she really got to spend time out with him in the snow and sun? It felt like she had trapped a huge eagle inside her chest! Big, crashing wings making her float, making her dizzy when she spotted a flake of snow land on his nose. That's what made winter so dangerous! But she had gotten tired of trying to pretend she was busy. Today, she had decided to throw caution to the wind.

"Meryl!" She had called out for him from outside the den come the rising sun; the snow behind her shined gold and cast steam into the air, swirling wisps that danced with her paws. "Meeerryllll," she called out again, dashing away on swift paws. She threw herself into the snow, borrowing deep inside one of the piles that had built up beside a tree. The white of her and the white of the snow blended together, even if half of her did seem to stick out from the snow. Still, in her mind she was so very hidden! "Meryl! Come find this one! This one will tell Meryl a secret!" She wiggled further into the snow, holding back her hummingbird giggles as she did so.
