Sinclair came quickly, which was (of course) his usual course of action. He had always been attentive to her needs, even when she had been a wild-child. She had always loved it about him even at her most difficult but now, she was even more thankful for it. His immediate arrival gave her a moment of relief and yet, he seemed confused, bewildered even! Her eyes practically popped out from the shock of it - how could he not feel it? It was all around them! Ever-present danger...teeth waiting to snatch up their success after so many years! She breathed in deep, closed her eyes for a moment, tried to calm herself down. Even she knew this was out of character. Hormones? Maybe. She'd...never experienced these one's after all.
Once she felt a little more grounded, she breathed out and met Sinclair's eyes. "Sinclair...I, well, hm." Her lips were taut, her brows furrowed. "I think I realized something this morning. I had...dreams. Well, lots of dreams. And...I'm so hungry even when I eat. I...can't see anything but danger out here. My joints are aching." She rambled, cutting herself off, interjecting - how was she supposed to know for sure? How was she supposed to tell him? What if she was wrong? It made her wiggle on her paws, completely unsure. "Do you think I look a little...fat?" She turned to the side, shaking her head as she did so, fully aware now that she had just verged into the realm of craziness. But surely he had to see it too, right? She was...wider, felt wider, and everything around them was hungry for the reason behind it all. Winter had to bring them joy but spring wanted to take it away from them if they weren't careful! How didn't he see it?
