The male looked like he was in thought but still amused by something she couldn't quite place. Was it something nefarious? Probably, to be honest, she could not bring herself to trust this man or the wild woman who brought her here. The utter realization she truly was nothing more than a gift had begun to register. The wild woman did not desire her for any other reason, nor had she been sent to get her for the male, Cuirass, before her. He seemed the vigilante type, and under different circumstances, she would ask his rank or at least try decent conversation however she had begun to realize that it was very unlike she would be developing that sense of relationship being as she seemed little more than a prisoner.
How smug! His smirk frustrated Inara to no end causing her tail to twitch slightly at its tip. When she asked about her fate and she questioned what she thought about family her heart nearly skipped a beat her tail drawing ever so closer to her body. As he begun to circle her. Two-toned eyes looked frantically for the best course of escape. Even now she had to play it cool and wait for the opportunity to present itself. The male carried on about how his own mate did not want to be around him for winter.
As he turned to meet her with glistening eyes she snapped towards his eyes in an attempt to force them to close. Even before she completed her mock attack she would be setting herself in motion. She moved to propel herself away from the male and to the borders. He seemed smaller than she, and perhaps he was more agile, but she had strong muscles and just may have the potential to break free from the pack. Inara simply hoped he wouldn't call for others, the woman was already against high odds and if leaner wolves came, or even strong ones came to his aid she was unable to fight him all.
