Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

While making their way south and a bit west, Sera's tail had not stopped moving once since she'd been bowled over by her imprint. She'd kept their pace steady, adjusting as she saw fit to accommodate the male's weakness. By the time they reached the border of Glorall full night had fallen and Sera was feeling a bit weary as well. Her search was over so that constant frantic energy that had sustained her for much of the past year had faded to be replaced by an obsessive need to keep her nameless imprint in sight, if not closer. In truth she'd not allowed herself to get further from him than it would take to reach out and touch him, which she'd done frequently during the course of their journey, just to assure herself that he was there and not just some elaborate hallucination.

But now that they'd reached home, her home and his if he wanted it, she was fully convinced that fate had done right by them. In that moment she wanted to run to Haziel, to tell him everything, show him her wonderful soulmate but she wouldn't leave his side. Not now, not ever. Her dark, brindled imprint would not escape her again and woe to any that tried to tear them apart. She still had half a mind to bully and badger the identity of the culprit from her poetic partner and hunt them down.

First, however, she needed to see him fed and the pair of them would no doubt benefit from proper rest. Slowing to a stop just over the edge of the border, Seraphina turned to face her imprint and tail swaying, her eyes shone bright in the moonlight. "We are home. It's not too much further to my den, or we could just rest on the beach if you'd like. I'm not fussy. I'll go hunting for you in the morning. Not going to find much more than a small rodent right now."
