Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Magpie
have courage
be kind

The poor dear seemed a bit flabbergasted by the whole thing and Magpie couldn’t say she blamed him. She was a bit startled and unsettled as well though likely for different reasons. She never would have considered herself so special as to find her soul twice in a lifetime, let alone within the first four years of her life. But here she was, standing before a cream-colored wolf with eyes like the ocean and there was no mistaking the way her very body seemed to sing in his presence. It was so similar and yet completely different from how things had been with Lefteris. She’d likely spend the following days analyzing the difference, but for now she was doing her best to remain calm and understanding for poor Triton.

“I...yes I suppose that would be right.” Soulmate. The mate of her soul. One soul, two bodies. It was all so romantic and poetic. Smiling faintly, tail still swaying behind her, Magpie tilted her head and studied Triton as he seemed a bit lost in thought. What did he think about all of this? Was she his first imprint or had he possessed another’s soul and lost it like she had? Not all imprints stayed together. Zanon had left Mara Sov, Adrian had sent her imprint away when Blackthorne had taken over Iromar. What if Triton didn’t wish to stay near one another? Though they’d only just met and she was still so uncertain about the bond, it was strong enough that the thought of him not wanting to be near her poked at fresh wounds and old ones alike. Insecurities bred from her less than ideal upbringing.

“I call Iromar home now and during Pine’s reign. Where are you from? You smell like the sea. I’ve never actually been that far south.” Pale, multi-hued eyes sparkled as she did her best to focus on more cheerful things. Small talk was always a good distraction and perhaps she might learn a thing or two about Triton. Maybe her concerns over his thoughts about their souls joining would be put to rest by what she learned. Yes, she was sure that would be the case. If she was to endure the loss of one imprint and be lucky enough to find a new home for her soul, then he would have to be suitable...wouldn’t he?
