There was no doubt in Cersei’s mind that she was joining the right pack. She didn’t want to be in a pack built on kindness and happiness, she had been born into that and saw how it was all fake. There was no such thing as real happiness, it was all an outward lie and ruse. She wanted a place that was real and honest and raw. A place like Crith Thalmhainn, a place run by a wolf like Sindicate. He showed exactly who he was from the beginning, no gimmicks or fakeness about him. Sure he was powerful enough to know that anyone that pissed him off he could easily take out. But he never faked being nice or kind. He let the world know who he was from the beginning. This was the place where she belonged. At least now, after everything that had happened. Years ago, when she had still been a mother, things may have been different. But since her kin had cruelly been taken from her, she was a changed wolf. And now she could relate more to Sindicate than to any other type of wolf.
The warrioress stepped forward with her offering. She knew that she was showing off by bringing the head of a juvenile mountain lion and not just a typical prey species. But Cersei wanted to show off to this male. To prove that she was worthy of him and his support. And she got just that. Their eyes locked, in a unique moment of understanding, and he nodded his approval to her, and she gave him a knowing look, that she understood that he approved of her offering. After the female brought her offering to the king, she watched with bright green orbs as more wolves appeared. The other wolf she had met last time was back, Draven, followed by a whimpering and crying wolf. The vampire would make an interesting ally if she could stomach the annoying brute. And as if he could read her mind, the vampire made a comment about her, one that made her lip curl. Was she gay? She didn’t know, and really she didn’t care. Why did he care if she was attracted to females or not? She had been with females before, usually with her previous mate, but she had not really thought anything of it before. And now was not the time for her to figure it out. But Draven didn’t give a chance for her to actually answer his probing question before he went on. Green orbs flickered to the other female that Draven was speaking of. She had figured out that he liked to keep playthings, but she didn’t care what he did in his spare time and had thought nothing of the femme. But now he was asking her something intriguing. If she was being honest with herself, she was a sexual wolf, and it had been a long time since she had lain with another. It was something in her life that she missed about home. It had always been easy enough for her to find her mate, or if he was unavailable, to find another willing participant. Was that something she wanted with Draven? Honestly she didn’t really care who it was with, but this could the way to an alliance with the male. Or maybe a true friendship if she could get over the annoying aspects of him. Her face did not give away any emotion or thought as he spoke, and when he had finished she took a moment to decide how to respond. ”Well I can guarantee you that I am not one to go soft, and you would be unsuccessful in ever taking me down. But as for your…proposition. I suppose I am exactly what you are looking for. You’ll just have to make it worth my while.” She gave the brute a wink before her attention focused back to the other wolves joining the meeting.
Two kalaks appeared next, a breed that she knew of but had not yet met in person. One seemed strong and confident, the other a pathetic mess of a wolf. Why was one as fearful and worried looking as her coming to a pack like this? She didn’t seem to have the same dynamic with the male maned wolf as the other female did with Draven, but she could not be sure. Maybe she too was being forced here against her will. But she didn’t quite get that sense. There was just something off about her, something that left a bad taste in Cersei’s mouth. But she ignored it for now. Sindicate would see through anyone and deem them worthy or not to be here. Lastly, they were joined by another femme with her offering. This one spoke in a funny way, and Cersei focused in on her, trying to see if she would speak more, but she did not.
And then the moment she had been waiting for came, Sindicate began to speak. Green orbs locked to the male, her full focus and attention on him. Even as he began to circle them, she kept her gaze on him at all times. The alpha began to speak of a wolf that Cersei did not know, but she could only assume that it had been the previous alpha of this pack. He liked to focus on how he owned this pack and this land. To some it would come off as if he wanted to possess the wolves themselves, and in a way he was. But that was not how Cersei saw it. She knew that being the leader of a pack took a toll on someone, changed them, she had seen it first hand with her own kin. Had seen it drive others mad and turned them to do terrible things. Sindicate was just doing what he needed to do to claim this land and to keep his sanity, even if his sanity was differnet than most. Cersei felt that she shared a moment with the male when he made mention of predator and prey, knowing that her offering would make her stand out amongst the crowd. But that was what the blonde warrior wanted. She didn’t want to be one in the background, not anymore. Sindicate continued to go on, to explain some of his thoughts and why he does what he does. But he spoke about wanting to see them squirm, that was the first time that Cersei disagreed with him. She had done her squirming, had been controlled and tormented by others. Had been weak and useless. But she had left all that behind her. That was part of why she had come here. To be the one to make others squirm, not to be the one under the paw of another.
What happened next surprised Cersei. She could already tell that Draven was an evil being, it was part of why she was attracted to him. But she did not expect to see him gamble the life of his slave in front of them all He was the first vampire that she met, and this would be the first time that she would see the effects of the venom that was within him. It excited her to watch the event unfold. It was clear that the female was not only screaming in terror, but in agony. Something that made this even more exciting. And when Draven’s form came up from between her legs, blood dripping from his fangs, she looked at him with lust. And she knew that this would be how he would make it worth her while from their earlier conversation. There was nothing else that could be as exciting and turn her on like this. This was something that only Draven could give her. But she had to remember that it was not just her and Draven and that they were with a crowd. They would have to speak again later. Cersei’s golden blonde form stood, approaching Draven and his suffering slave, a spark in her emerald orbs. ’So, Draven. What effect on her…flesh…does the vampire venom have. Does it taste the same as any other canine?” She glanced to Sindicate as she spoke to the vampire, wondering if she was the only one that wondered this. Or if she was the only one that was longing to actually taste her. As much as Cersei wanted to sink her fangs in to the writhing femme, she knew that it was not her place. Not yet anyways. She was still here to show her loyalty to Sindicate, and she tried to show with just a look how much she longed for things to get started. For a feast to begin.
