This was just too easy. He approached the male in the free lands, wondering what his desires were and in return, he found out that male was all about information, apparently. And he had a thing for Blackthorne. Well, he was interested in the ex-alpha of Iromar, anyway, though Cuirass couldn't see what all the hubbub was about. The little shit deserved to get dethroned. Cuirass didn't shed one tear about it. He knew his alpha had considered Blackthorne and his pack allies but Cuirass had no shared love for the younger male. Blackthorne had tried to make him get on his belly and kiss the male's damned paws when he took over Iromar. Instead, Cuirass left, cursing the whole way. Good thing for Blackthorne, Asteraia was Cuirass' true home since he was born there and he'd taken a liking to the place all over again when he came back.

He didn't plan on going back to Iromar, at least not any time soon. He had it good in Asteraia and he knew that. He had a high rank and the alpha favored him. She even gave him gifts for winter and now he was going to be a dad! He would be lying if he didn't say he wasn't excited that it took and Inara was pregnant and due to give birth soon. He'd kept a very watchful eye on her between attempted steals and had Kweku or someone else do it when he couldn't be there. There was no way he was going to let her take off with his unborn litter. He wasn't even sure if he would let her have any say on raising the kid or kids when they were born. If she was a good mother, he might allow some sort of custody but make no mistake, they were his kids and no one would stand in the way of that. Not even the mother. He'd cut her out of their lives completely if he had to.

Meanwhile, he'd convinced this male that he had the information he needed; all he had to do was follow. And follow, the male did. He was pretty gullible, at least, in Cuirass' opinion. But then, he was known to be quite the silver tongue when he wanted to be. He was quite proud of himself, his steps more of a skip as they made it to the borders. He glanced back. "Comfortable back there? We're almost there, promise. Just a little further. And don't worry about the pesky borders. You've got a genuine escort so no one will stop us." He smirked, his eyes practically twinkling as he made his way into Asteraia. He slowed just enough to make sure the male was still following. "So, what can I call you, by the way? I don't think I caught a name. I'm Cuirass." There, friendly enough, right?
