Once the girls arrived and looked up at their father, Nukilik knew something was wrong. He didn’t look to happy and she wondered what it was about. She turned her head and looked to see what he was staring at. He was watching Olya walk up to them, her stomach plump with that Nukilik could believe to be pups. How could Olya do this to him? Our father who has done nothing but protect her?! the rage built up inside of her as she looked at the wolf who helped raise them.

She tossed her head and decided it would be better to hide behind the rock. She didn’t want to see Olya or those… things inside of her stomach. She scoffed at the thought and she heard Kallik laugh next to her. ”Were going to be big sisters! Kallik said to her and Nukilik just grumbled about it. Little prickles were starting to pinch in her head and her annoyance sky rocketed.

They could hear Olya speaking, and afterwards they heard a voice that made them stop in their tracks. Kallik turned on a dime and shot back towards the front of the rocks. Nukilik slid to a stop before debating if she wanted to go back to the front and see Kab along with her father and Olya or just go lay down somewhere and try to stop this pain from rising in her head.

Finally she decided that seeing Kab would make her feel better. Turning she bolted towards him. She was a second behind Kallik, and like always the girls had a trick up their sleeve. Jumping up and landing on him, licking up and down the side of his face on each side. ”Look you found us!” Kalli said and Nukilik just smiled before backing up. Out of the corner of her eye she saw her father walking towards Olya.

The painful pinching in her head started to become increasingly painful. She huffed slightly and went to go say something to Kab, but she heard the sounds of pain, the sounds of sorrow. Her head snapped back and she watched as Olya began to push the pups out of her. They’re going to replace you. A voice in her mind spoke to her as she watched the site in front of her. She hated this, she hated that she had these voices inside of her head.

As her father and Olya talked after she pushed the last pup out Nuk felt a strange urge to just murder the pups that were coming between her father and Olya. Do it dear, kill the small pups that are replacing you, it will make you feel better. She growled before slowly starting to walk over towards the pups. She heard Kallik calling behind her, but it didn’t stop her.

”Nukilik! Your mind is playing tricks on you! Come back! Kallik screamed at her. She ran and pounced on her sister, throwing her off balance and pushing her to the ground. Nukilik growled and turned her head snapping her massive jaw at her sisters head. Two of her teeth catch Kallik’s cheek and tear it slightly. Kallik growled back at her and felt blood dripping down from her cheek. See Even your sister will choose them over her own blood.

The voice spoke to her and Nukilik growled, throwing Kalli off of her before turning around and snapping at her. ”At least these voices don't lie to me!” She yelled at her sister before getting in an aggressive stance. Kill them, Kill them all.

She screamed out in pain as she realized what was happening. The voice in her head was causing her to act this way, she would never be mad at Olya, she would never want to kill innocent pups. She fought to push the voice back. Just like when she was a pup she had to fight basically to get her life back in her own hands. Screaming agony as she collapsed to the ground. You cannot defeat me this time. the voice said to her.
