Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Draven
I'm Your Worst Nightmare Dressed as your Day Dream

His hit to her abdomen had not only been a successful blow, but a devastating one. Draven knew it as soon as he felt his teeth ’pop pop pop’ through the three separate layers of muscle in the Oferweder’s belly. He knew it when he heard the distinct ‘hiss’ as air rushed into her abdomen, the negative pressure negated. From now on, Draven’s enemy was living on borrowed time. She knew it, and he knew it. Perhaps if she got to a healer sooner rather than later, minimized her motion for the next few weeks, and was kept well fed and treated with the right herbs, her life could be salvageable. But that was if and only if Draven had not punctured any of her intestines, her spleen, her liver, or any of the other juicy internal organs that liked to float about just where he had landed his mark. If he had… then no one and nothing could save her. And if she left now - Draven would be able to outrun the rainbow hued vixen and get to her before anyone else did – be it a vampire who sought to suck her dry or a Tempest who sought to protect her. As much as he hated to leave a fight early and unfinished, as previously said he was no fighter. He was a master of manipulation, a strategist, and he knew that his odds were better if the Tempest ran away.

Give up the rainbow colored wolf, she is mine and I will do with her as I please. Leave now and I shall not chase you down and kill you, but instead give you a fighting chance so you can get to a healer, so you can find help. Choose to save your life over her‘s. Don’t be an idiot, Tempest. Make the right choice.” He grinned at her, her own blood dripping off of his elongated fangs. For a second or two he waited for reply, but she either said nothing or else Adara declared that she would do whatever it took to protect the rainbow. The grin faded for a second into a glare, before it returned, this time with a more malicious intent. Draven snarled at her for a second, grinning like a maniac all the while, before lunging. He was aiming for her front leg, but before he could even get close enough to land a blow, Adara was instead attacking him. She went for his leg again, and Draven danced away from her, momentarily thinking her a fool for trying the same move on him twice. The vampire swerved away from her, whipping around to evade her attack, but what he didn’t realize was that she had no intent of trying the same thing twice - no. Her plan thus worked exactly as she had wanted, and by leaning away from her as he had, and turning, he had left his entire right side - his rib cage and his flank - open to her hit. His motion was jarred suddenly as he took the hit and felt her teeth dig into his skin and muscle before tearing away. He felt her teeth bounce off each of his ribs, and he was lucky only that she had not managed to dig her teeth in between her ribs, elsewise he would have been in a lot more dangerous of a situation. Draven howled angrily and pulled away from her sharply, just in time to miss the onslot that would have meant the end of him as she went for the killing blow to his throat. He felt her teeth snap at the air just in front of him, catching a few hairs and ripping them out. Instinctively, he swallowed, moving his larynx up and away from her to protect it… And then he was on the move.

The first hit he had tried to make he had failed at. He had wanted to snap at the inside of her elbow in order to further disrupt her motion. However, she had attacked him too quickly and set them off balance, preventing him from hitting anything. But now, now that she was off-balance because her aim had missed and she had stumbled forward an extra step, she was in the perfect position for him to try to make the same move that she had just… Only, only he would succeed. Draven crouched down in a lunge, his chest slamming onto the ground, before pushing off the earth as hard as he could, his wounds screaming in complaint, especially his rib cage as his breath came in short painful pants. But his hunger drove him, pushed the pain away. And at any rate, nothing would ever again be as agonizing as it had been to turn into a vampire. All other pain was mild and dull in comparison. And so, mouth agape, he leapt for her throat. He aimed to have his fangs frame her nape, curling around the back of the deep vessel - the carotid - on either side of the trachea. He needed to make sure he went deep enough to fully hit the carotid. And then… once he felt his teeth slip into the deeper tissues then he would tear outward, ripping her nape apart in a spray of blood. His tongue slipped out and he fed from her briefly, but that was when he realized that she could never taste as sweet as the rainbow wolf had.

The rainbow colored wolf…

Bloodthirsty eyes looked through the words in the direction she had ran - of course she was running for the safe haven of the Tempest pack. With a snarl, he leapt in that general direction, running across the land as well as he could with the injuries he had thus far sustained, leaving Adara to die alone slowly and painfully. But at least she was granted some measure of respect - for not once did Draven even consider the notion of violating her dying body. He was too focused on the fleeing Zawyne, especially when her vocals called out to him, winding through the woods. He laughed and called back to her.

I’m going to find you, little one. Run run as fast as you can… I will catch you, what shall you do then?!
