It was hard to remember the basics of calming down: just breathe, take a break, maybe stand still for a moment and actually realize where you are. They were hard steps to remember when her mind was so alive with possibility but nonetheless, she tried her best. She didn't really want her first impression to be that of a madwoman or some kind of woman-child (as true as that might have been at times) so even though she had summoned Jubilee so ecstatically, she did at least try to settle herself down not long after. Of course, it was exceedingly difficult to do so when the first wolves she spotted were too overzealous children. She took a deep breath and steadied herself, though her tail still waved a thousand miles behind her as her face lit up into a broad, toothed grin.

So how was she supposed to stay calm when the wolf she assumed was Jubilee came racing into frame too? And better yet, she sent the children tumbling! Thankfully, it seemed in good spirits and Yuki permitted herself a small laugh to match Jubilee's own before she shook her head - ah, she remembered that kind of energy. Well, it wasn't as if it had ever truly left her but all that pouncing and tumbling about? Even Yuki couldn't keep up with that!

>But this was Jubilee, wasn't it? Yuki met her gaze and gave a bow of greeting - Jubilee, Bran and Emer. She pondered for a moment where the others might be - with their father perhaps? But then again, Nymeria hadn't mentioned a father...but Yuki wasn't sure if that was the norm, either. So she set the thought aside and instead, kept herself focused on the task at hand.

"It's a pleasure, Jubilee! And Bran, Emer, of course! I'm Yuki, a new member here in Spirane and - hopefully! - the future Snafflefang." She beamed, her chest puffed ever so slightly in pride before she tilted her head in thought - a trick to remember just what she had been assigned to do. "Nymeria mentioned you might like some extra help? She wants me to pick up some healing knowledge, but it's not right to just...take. So, consider me a bit of a personal aid today, would you?" She was, after all, asking for permission to stick around - just in her own Yuki way, casual and seldom ever with that formal edge so many others seemed to employ. For Yuki, she just hadn't clicked with formality so much. It was boring to experience a story through strict rules and regulations, right? And so she let her pleading little smile do the asking for her, a sheepish sweep of her tail signaling an unspoken pleaaaase.
