Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

He wasn't much to look at, an all white wolf with a floppy ear. Whoo! He was a stunner, sure. He didn't really take looks for much, because, well, they never really mattered to him. To others, they may care. He wasn't the only white wolf in the land, at least, he assumed so. Compared to his sisters and brother, he was plain. But he liked that, mainly because in winter he blended in and no one bothered him. But that also made him more lonely than anything. No one could claim he was verbose, because well, he was more akin to a mute than anything. Rarely speaking, merely because he chose not too.

He meandered around, not paying any attention to anything. When the little tyke stopped him, he tilted his head to the side, watching her quietly. She spoke a few questions, ending with stating she was hungry and asked if he'd hunt for her. He grunted, looking around, expecting to see an adult searching for this little sprite.

"Slow down little one. I am Berwyn of Spirane. Yes I can hunt for you, but the question I've got, now that I've answered yours, is where are your parents missy?" His voice came out a little gruff, not in a menacing way, just deep and rough. He would hunt for her little belly, but he wanted to make sure he knew where to send her home too when her belly was full and satisfied. He supposed he would help her get home as well, as he'd expect any other to do that for his nieces or nephews her age. His keen eyes were watching the land, unsure where he'd find what to feed the little girl. He knew there were prairie dogs and jackrabbits here, but he could also head towards the river to get a fish or two if she'd rather that. Hmmm. Choices choices.
