Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

He did not know how long he had been on his own now - to a pup with such a short lifespan that had been already lived, hours seemed like weeks and weeks like months. Everything was in a stark exaggeration and played out quite dramatically. But although his fear and confusion may have exaggerated how dire the situation was, his exhaustion was real. A wolf pup was made up more of brown fat than muscle, and he was used to feeding every few hours, whenever he wanted really. All he had to do was suckle on his mother's mammaries to be gifted with the warm sweet milk, or else shove his snout in the corner of his mom's maw in order to cause her to regurgitate partially digested food for him to then digest himself. But in the immensely long amount of time that he had gone without the presence of his mouth, he had not eaten anything, and thus was not only hungry, but also weak. His energy stores were low, and he had no reserves, and poor Dragan was at a real risk of becoming hypoglycemia. How would he survive without his parents? He had no real skills, not yet - he did not know how to hunt or hide at all, seen obviously by his choice of a rest stop. He had called out a plea for helping, hoping that someone, anyone would find him. The naive innocent boy had no idea at all that the world was a dangerous place and that there would be those who would potentially want to harm him. And, used to immediate gratification, he resigned himself to failure and death, and had laid down.

A mistake, and a costly one at that, given that within just a few moments of his belly grazing the pine needle covered floor of the forest, he felt a sudden sharp pang as someone else collided with him, then tripped over him. Dragan yelped in fear and reactively rolled over onto his back, meaning to show that he meant no disrespect. His twin shades were tightly shut over his pools, and he waited for the reprimanding strike. But... more pain never came. One lid, then the other, lifted and he released the breath that he had been holding as he realized that the wolf that had collided with him was another wolf pup.

'oof- im.. im sorry. are you okay? were you then one calling for help? i know im not big or strong or anything, but i can try and help you out? im zudios, what’s your name?'

Dragan found himself nodded but then shaking his head. Furiously and vehemently he then nodded again, but the words were set off in such rapid fire that he could not get a word in. And so instead he blushed nervously and studied the opposing pup - it was so... plain. Where were its antlers or feathers or scales? Dragan had a quite unique pair of parents - a vipera birth mother and a normal other mother, but his siblings were quite unique as well. But this pup in front of his was much like Kahlan - he looked like a normal wolf with normal fur and normal paws. He was not a mutant at all, and not for the first time he found himself wondering if he himself was the oddball, if his unique characteristics were actually afflictions, or if he could be accepted and seen as normal as well. He was at the most dangerous of ages, after all, where he was highly malleable and prone to influence of any sort be it benevolent or malevolent.

Slowly, he rolled over from his spine back to his belly, before standing slowly. He shook off the collection of pine needles that had gotten caught between the layers of his thick, fluffy puppy fur before finally starting to provide some answers. "I... yes. I was the one calling out. I... I am okay but I'm not okay. I woke up one day and neither of my mommies did. They were alive just... sleeping. And no matter what I did they wouldn't wake up and all my siblings were gone already so I was all alone and..." Dragan sniffled and swiped a paw up at his nares. "I'm all alone and I'm hungry and yea. My name is Dragan... do you have any food?" His eyes drifted up to what small patches of the sky he could see through the thick branches overhead. Down on the canopy floor, it was always dim, but now even sun was disappearing. Dragan whimpered. "Can I... can I stay with you at your home?"
