Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Sidhe to pariah @ crags

Oh, how strange it was to be growing up! She had become distinctly aware of the passage of time; her paws had grown, her ears had grown, even she had grown into a different shape so much like her sisters' and yet, so different too. Seasons changed, everything changed, and she spent her evenings rolled onto her back staring up at her father Wraith whispering fantastic tales of her days and the days to come. For Sidhe, every second she felt move by in the world was something she felt affection for, and when enough had finally passed by, their mother had began to permit them unrestricted access to wherever their dreamy paws might take them. For Sidhe, that was everywhere, and it was the one time she couldn't help but frown at time: there simply wasn't enough in her day to be everywhere at once. How dreadful, she had lamented, but it didn't stop her from trying nonetheless.

The crags were not so far away, an easy place for her to venture to as the day began to slow and the sun began its weary descent; Iromar sloped neatly into the rocky channels, the marshes opening up to reveal deep grey stone and carved out crevices. She was excited for time to some day allow her the strength to climb the taller pillars and touch the sky, a future she smiled at as she placed her front paws against the pillar and looked up. It was almost like a ritual of her own as she traversed the crags - each time she found herself at the base of one of the stony pillars that reached skyward, she would stand on her back legs and against it. Sometimes, she pressed an ear to it and hummed low beneath her breath - Sidhe would swear she could feel them humming back. Over and over she did so, checking each and every one she could to discover whether she would be able to reach the top of any and it was when she peeled her eyes open after several moments of stillness against the stone that she caught sight of somebody move in the distance, their dusty body leaping atop a rock. How could Sidhe ignore such a thing?

She moved with a sway - not the jerky, erratic nature of her mother's but rather, a song in her stride, a dreamy kind of floating. Sidhe was part of the world but not too, her paws merely grazing it as she danced towards the stranger. It did not take her long to find herself at the foot of the rock, the stranger above her coiled up beneath the sunset, and Sidhe below, staring up fascinated by the way the light played within the woman's grey and russet. Sidhe wanted to blow air on her, to blow away the dust and yet, the dust was her fur, the tiredness her nature. But Sidhe didn't know - she merely sensed life, warm blood, could have sworn she could see the woman's heartbeat outside of her in the very air itself. She breathed in, and perhaps it would be that breath that would wake the other to her presence. "So beautiful," she breathed aloud, and her eyes were solidly on Pariah when she spoke them, her lips curled back in an admiring grin.

wouldn't you love to love her?
