It was quiet really and yet something within kept insisting her to stay on her toes after all that curious wolf did approach her borders not long ago. So she kept her head about her. It was fair to say her family and some of the pack had a tendency to be reclusive. Sekhmet understood why however after making rounds on the borders it did cause her to look around with diligence. She wanted to see what her pack mates were up to and even commune with them. To be fair, it was an uncommon occurrence she would go out and actively seek others for company, but it was not unheard of, perhaps it was the nature of curiosity that tugged at her this day. Perhaps she would talk to her adviser if he could find him. Perhaps she would go venture out to the other packs or free lands. The common tongue was not a favorite of hers. With her ears pricked forward and her head held high she moved across the field at a trot almost hoping to run across someone to keep her company all the while she actively cast an occasional gaze into the distance. If someone did show up on her borders, was eager to meet them on this day. Nothing really sated her curiosity especially due to the appeal of venturing out and to determine the happenings of the other leaders.
For now, she considered her children. They were growing stronger and so large, in part, she was proud however when she looked at Bastet she realized she would not be riveling her siblings in size. After some searching, she happened upon her smallest daughter, Bastet. If no one else decided to join them at least she had her daughters company. While Bastet seemed not to notice her yet. She seemed to look longingly to the trees just off from the borders and to Sekhmets knowledge Bastet had rarely left the packs boarders. "Daughter." She called in a soft hiss causing Bastet to turn her gaze towards her before she continued; "It will not come to you." The young girl trotted towards her almost quiet but with her tail wagging and ears low. Sekmet settled on her haunches as she settled in for a conversation of sorts anyway.
