He knew she was watching him as he leapt to the ground. That's good cause she needed to get a little more graceful with trees, herself. She was like a ballerina on the ground but when it came to climbing, she was as awkward as a newborn at times. He knew her size didn't make it easy but he felt that any handicaps could be overcome. She just had to want it and work at it more. She was a smart girl and he had no doubt she would make him and her mother proud. When he announced that they were hunting, she gave out a shrill cry of excitement and he grinned, his eyes showing amusement. "Someone's eager to taste blood." He mused as he turned away.

He knew she hadn't been on many hunts, and she'd certainly never been on this kind of hunt before but she didn't know that yet. He knew her tracking wasn't the best but practice makes perfect, right? He smirked, letting her lead before she paused and turned to him, asking what he already knew. He nodded, smirk still in place as his brow lifted daringly. "Is that a problem?" When she went back to tracking, he could see a new eagerness in her walk, her fur almost standing on end as her body practically vibrated. She was looking forward to this. Good, cause so was he. He licked his lips, his tail waving lazily behind him as he followed her, letting her take the lead, at least for now. When it came to hunting, he would show her some luring techniques but he would be watching her as well, seeing how she adapted to this kind of prey.
