If he didn't know any better, he'd say the other male looked almost irritated that someone was greeting him. Did he not want company? Exodus almost felt bad for making himself known. Maybe he should have just walked on by. He hated to be a bother or a burden to anyone. The wolf then turned to look at him, as if he wanted to get a good look at him. Exodus saw the smirk tugging at the wolf's lips as he heard Exodus before the wolf moved in closer. Only then could Exodus truly see the gaps taken out of the wolf's right ear. The male looked like he'd lived a rough life. But then the wolf spoke and now it was Exodus' turn to flick his ears back uncertainly before he shook his head. "No, that's not it. You just....smell differently, is all. You look like you've seen a lot but I don't think you can be much older than me so if they do get rid of older wolves, guess I'm on the chopping block, too." He said with a small smirk, his eyes lighting up at his attempt for humor. Then the male confirmed that he wasn't from around here. Exodus noticed him straighten up, like he was trying to prove he wasn't weak or something. Did he think Exodus was going to attack him? Exodus had his own multitude of scars from his years of killing targets that fought back but he didn't attack for no reason. He'd left that life behind, anyway. Now he had a mate and a child. Well, she wasn't really a child anymore but he wasn't ready to admit that. He tilted his head as the wolf said that he heard about Moladian from other wolves. Exodus could only guess what they had to say about it. Then he asked if Moladian minded him coming to take a look. Exodus' smirk became a more friendly smile as he wagged his tail. "Not at all. I don't mind seeing new faces. I'm not a pack wolf or anything and this isn't a territory. It's neutral ground so you're free to come and go as you please. My name is Exodus." He offered the wolf, hoping for the male to see that he meant no harm.
