He'd always been told it wasn't safe in Asteraia but he didn't care anymore. He couldn't stop thinking about the exotic girl he'd met so he decided to track her down. It wasn't even much of a decision. He'd already been adventuring out of Taviora, looking for something to take his mind off all the inactivity around Moladian. Even his brother, Niyol, had been lying low, and that was never a good thing. He looked forward to seeing what else his brother would get up to when things weren't so quiet but in the meantime, he had a girl to track down. He didn't know why he was so focused on her. Maybe when he found her, he could figure that out.
He made his way over the borders of Taviora, heading through the free lands. It didn't take him long to pick up her trail. It was faint, but there. She was a busy bee. He followed it through the free lands till he started to smell another pack. Asteraia, the pack scent on her coat. Sighing, he slowed, but not for long. Did he want to risk going into the pack and having cannibals chasing him down? That was the stories he'd heard, anyway. What if they weren't true, though? A part of him wanted to find out. He got closer to the borders, sniffing round but not venturing over. Not yet, anyway. Instead, he sent up a call. Would she recognize his voice? He could only hope so.
