“Don’t worry about that,” Persephone replied with a reassuring smile. She could hardly believe that this quiet little mare would be worried about interrupting them while in the throes of labour. Persephone’s gave shifted between the different members of the group for a moment, flicking from Evren to Tarek as she waited to see if they would rush to accompany the girl. Tarek seemed perhaps the obvious choice, being the only one who knew the girl, but then again, it was slightly atypical for a mare to give birth with a man standing over her. There were many more atypical things in this world, however. Her gaze settled on Tarek. “Do you want to go with her, or shall I?” She waited a moment to hear his response, before shooting a curious glance at Evren. It seemed like fate that one of her relatives had turned up here so soon after she had moved into the Forest. Persephone looked forward to hearing more about him from her, as soon as more pressing matters were dealt with. |
