There had always been talk of the annual two year gathering. It was only appropriate for a prince of Asteraia to attend. Not to mention the fact that his sisters had already departed ahead of him. If nothing else, Runihura would go to keep watch on Bastet. Of his sisters, she paled in comparison to Menk. It was only natural that he keep close to ensure her safety. His silver eyes drifted across the invisible border that marked the pack of the mountain born. They were welcome here temporarily, that much he felt certain of. He knew his family was... different... for lack of a better work.
Hura narrowed his eyes briefly before crossing the threshold of Spirane. His ears twitched slightly at the familiar call of Bastet. He was practically late at this point. The young male increased his pace a bit until he finally drew upon the meeting place. As expected, both of his sisters were there. He flashed a toothy grin to Menk as he moved to give Bastet a gentle nudge on the shoulder as another approached.
He vaguely recognized the scent as a boy who had been near Menkhet, but nothing more. A soft growl rumbled in his chest. It was a close to a gentle warning Mochimal would get. Menk might be fully capable of fending for herself, but Bastet would, in Hura's eyes, always need someone to look out for her. Perhaps it was an unhealthy mindset for the young wolf, yet there was little that would change it.
Hura did not say anything else for the time being. Others were likely to arrive, though he found it unlikely he would mingle with others unless the gathering grew significantly larger.
