Zjeena was eager to see Liland's reaction. She is so overwhelmingly proud of her babies. The reality of having twins is finally starting to dawn on her. This explains her particularly uncomfortable pregnancy. As her thoughts turn, she's not just proud of her babies, but incredibly proud of herself. Zjeena has always been happy in her own skin. She's always been healthy and strong. She's perhaps not the classic idea of beauty, but being hardy is a more important quality in a wild horse, and she'd take that over the graceful lines of a more delicate body any day. It's not a common mare that that can produce two healthy twins and live to tell the tale.
Liland's reaction is calm and warm, so typical of him. She hopes her children have half his heart. Seeing him interact with Nattergal and Havelle fills her with glee and strengthens the love she already feels for him. "This is Havelle", she says, gesturing towards the filly, who is now lipping curiously at Liland's mane. "And Nattergal.", she says, gesturing towards the colt, who has now ventured beyond his mother's shadow. He reaches out with his own snout, interrupting a tender moment between his parents.
"Rayna is a beautiful name. I can't wait to meet her." Zjeena says genuinely. "And I can't wait for them to meet." Zjeena smiles at her twins. Setting up play dates never sounded like so much fun.
