Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

That beauty is a puzzle

The accent in his father's voice was intriguing and attractive. There was no question why his mother had chosen Ernesto's seed by the sound of his voice and the look of his body. Augustine hoped he grew in the same way, leaving behind most of his mother's delicate features and becoming handsome and strong with a tongue to slay the ladies. He watches his father intently, but his features grow excited when the stallion agrees to teach him.

There was no greater pleasure than a young boy learning the ropes from his idol. Of course his first lesson came with a shock. The excitment wipes off his face and replaces with a frown. He didn't think father cared much about mares, but it seems he has some respect for the ones that carried his young. He nods even though he felt he was being unnecessarily scolded. Thankfully, his sire doesn't stick to the subject long and Augustine, too, was onto the next thing.

"I want to know how to pick up the ladies like you do. Maybe how to use the accent of yours. You think I could learn some of those words you use?" He let some different words slip ever now and then. Madre, padre, hijo, etc. Augustine wanted to know more about those words and what they meant.
