Sand soon collected t the bottom of her hooves in clumps. She wasn't sure she liked the feeling, but maybe the discomfort would lessen the drier she got. From just looking, the sand looked soft and comfortable, but so far her experience of the strange dirt didn't match what she saw. She was staring down at a raised back hoof, ears pointed back in annoyance when the stranger started her way. She didn't expect to meet anyone today, but maybe that was just what she needs.
Green eyes rise to the sound of a nicker. Lightly golden ears shoot up in attention towards the bay stallion prancing towards her. His gait was different than the horses back at the Prairie, but her mother had a strange way she walked from the others so maybe it was genetic. Primrose didn't seem to differ much from her other father so she felt her walk was normal. This stallion was floating on the sand. She wasn't sure he even touched the ground!
It was enough that he floated on the sand, but the words that came out of his mouth made him seem even more foreign. "Are you an alien?" She doesn't mean to say the words, but they slip out without thinking. She gasps. "Whoops. I mean I don't understand you." She tries to explain. Her wonder of this stallion has erased the thoughts of her recent loss, at least for a moment.
