The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Make 'em bow, one by, one by one...

The simple word cowed the girl enough that she pinned her ears back and grumbled to herself before seating herself next to Hepzibah. She stood tall, suddenly extremely proud of her own heritage even if she had little idea of what it all truly meant. She had never before been exposed to non-demons. And though her nose had smelled all the wolves that had passed through the Grotto in any sort of recent timeline, it would seem that like was attracted to like. The only wolf she had actually encountered was none other than another Demon. Or at least, a child of a Demon. She wondered how many others there were.

She listens to her mother, the measure of her voice and how the niceities flowed but did not continue much. She did not apologize for Sorath's behavior which the red-backed child found odd. Then again, Sorath did not feel bad about nipping at Ruby's legs. The other had interrupted her exploration. Besides, Sorath was SO bored. Even now she struggled to maintain her stance and stay still. She listens to the questions and tries her hardest to remain emotionless. Her front feet shift their weight as she wiggles.

Her restlessness ebbs as her mother talks of Angels. It was news to her dark ears that the Angelic wolves had any sort of residence here in this land. Why would her mother bring her to a place? They should of gone back to Hell. Her ears pin against her head and the anger of fear crept into her own icy blue eyes as she first glanced to Hepzibah with an accusatory look before she looked at Ruby. "Is Iromar safe?" Sorath thought this Iromar would be their salvation in their travels but now she thought perhaps this was their desolation.
