Maybe. Just maybe. If the stallion who has introduced himself as Cain would of approached him differently that first day, things could of been different. He had with such malice, chased Bahadır away. Bahadır was no fool, he understood that the stallion had laid claim to the Desert, but he had been unkind to him. The sting of the stallions teeth against his back are a reminder of the stallion's lack of finesse in that first meeting.
Cain has no understanding of his customs, nor did it seem, did he care. Bahadır was no insolent mare who was in need of punishment. His ears remain laced into his ebony mane as the stallion advances down upon him. He watches with dark eyes, waiting. His muscles vibrate beneath his mahogany hide, anticipating the uncoiling. As Cain thunders down on him, the stallions neck snakes out toward him. Bahadır utters a scream from between parted barred teeth, before he lunges toward the male.
He can feel Cain's teeth scrape against his hide, but Bahadır pushes forward as he brings his body parallel to Cain's. His teeth seek out the soft tissue of his flanks, careful to avoid any striking hind hooves. After tense moments of his teeth seeking out tender flesh, he lunges away, pivoting to face Cain if he decides to come after him.
"Bahadır, does not show fear of you," he spits with malice. The tension between them is electrifying, making the air around them crackle with energy. "You must apologize to the pale woman and me, you have insulted both of us," he says with a defiant glint in his dark eyes.
