PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Kolfinna had not been incorrect in her unspoken assumptions, the mares were indeed related. Twins, even. The greying brindle mare regarded them with renewed interest. Never before had she met twin horses, though she’d heard whispers of them. That one of the stories was true only entrenched in Kolfinna that surely others must be too. Legends, just waiting to be discovered. Well met, Kyuubi, Kurama. Narrow ears stood alert to the sound of another approaching, and Kolfinna was delighted to see a black mare join them. She was a curiosity, built differently from the twin mares in every way. Where Kyuubi and Kurama had strength, this one, Amunet, was streamlined and slender, with beautifully unique ears.

Greetings to you, Amunet. I am Kolfinna, and you are most welcome, the grey mare replied, addressing Amunet’s earlier request. Tilting her muzzle, Kolfinna beckoned her new companions follow, and began leading them further up the slope. It was good not to be alone, and the young mare was eager to get to know the three mares. Did you travel far to be here? she asks of them over her shoulder, turning her head back to better keep an eye on her footing. It was getting rockier as they ascended the incline, and even as she scoured her fresh memories of this place in search of a path not too perilous along which she could lead Amunet and the sisters, she turned an ear back, listening intently to any information the mares behind her felt comfortable to share.

In time, she'd share some of her own experiences, if the others sought to know more of her. But for now, she was content listening and learning about them, and focused on guiding them safely. It was good, not to be alone. The path ahead narrows considerably, she warned, during a break in the conversation. They’d have to travel single file, and snake along the rocky ledge.
