I recently re-read that Morgan/Brienne/Everglow thread in the prairie and I still hate it and love it as much as I did when we wrote it. -_- I also went and found the old Morgan/Isoke threads and holy crap the feels made me wanna cry.
I think it would be funny if Everglow had thought that she'd told Iskulan that they weren't related but actually hadn't, so he'd be freaking out over his feelings for her and she could think he was just a coward about admitting it, not realizing that she knew something he didn't. Alternatively, since she was so young when Brienne took him in, maybe she would have forgotten and would need a trigger to remind her and have that aha! moment. Iskulan would be angsty over wanting a relationship with Everglow, even thinking that she's his sister, but he wouldn't act on it unless something scared him so bad that he couldn't help himself, and even then she would have to agree. He'll always be devoted to her regardless. <3
Also, I went and read Everglow's drama threads with Cain and everybody, and I think it would be counterproductive to throw Iskulan there now when she's so close to getting away. XD But if you want him to find her before she gets back to the prairie, so that she'd have plenty of time to get wound up and yell at him like I'm sure she wants to (she may actually make him cry, fyi), we could make a new thread for them with him bursting onto the scene once she's clear of Cain. If Vihaan isn't allowed to escort her home, that would make a scenario where Iskulan arrives to Everglow on her own, not knowing what had just happened, and his cluelessness could make her even madder at him, if that's possible. :p If Vihaan does take her home, we could leave Iskulan to pop up in the prairie, still clueless, just to simplify things. I'm happy with whichever you prefer since I'm so rusty and Everglow's in the driver's seat for this confrontation - I mean reunion.
I'll work on getting Scylla up in the falls. Just a warning - the first post is likely to be disjointed and rambly since I need to get back in the swing of things.
As for the war stuff, yikes that sounds scary. My first instinct when I considered what could happen is that Scylla would end up dying to protect Evren (or her foal) as her ultimate act of penance and asking for forgiveness. No idea how it could end up happening, but I can see it. Now I just have to decide whether Scylla should have her own foal in the meantime, to up the stakes. She's always gonna be a little gun shy around strange guys after what happened when she was young but now that she's an old spinster, she'd probably be more receptive. XD Replies:
