PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

as the light in me went dark

Well so far Khar was not impressed. It was one thing to be short on members, but to completely ignore and intruder, a stranger no less... well that was a bit disturbing. A part of her, the selfish spoiled girl, imagined that perhaps it was the peak mares disrespecting her. After all, they had no idea who she was or what she could do. Another part of her wondered if perhaps it was simply a lost cause. However she could not see her bending to the general idealism set up by the male gender. She was not the type to submit to a herd dynamic. One lead mare to mare all the decisions, one stallion with whom it was her duty to breed and bare offspring for? Please! Not in her lifetime. True she had found her a male, let him hump til his heart's content but in the end she figured it was she who was walking away victorious. He may have had his few minutes of release, but she would have a child of her own. She did not know anything about him aside from a nickname of sorts. Gent he called himself and for the most part he had acted rather gentleman like. Strange for it was not generally her preference. However he was a fine specimen and pretty to look at to boot. Over all, she figured the made out rather well.

As the days begin to pass, Khar continues to make her way through the Peak terrain, familiarizing herself with the jagged mountainscape and sifting through the scents both familiar are foreign. The scents of horse here was fleeting. One moment it bore strong upon the rocks and the next faint as though the next strong wind might whisk it away. So far she had not met any of the others, seen them on occasion, but never met them.

However when the call of summons rings over the peaks, Khar'pern is waiting. Twin harks flicker to stand at attention amid the wisping threads of her alabaster mane. Paper thin nostrils flare as the the mare of cinnamon and sugar hues let out a resounding bugle of her own, answering the summons with her own voice. Sleek arching serpentine bends, ashen plush pressed against the petite curve of her breast as Khar'pern quickly navigates with surefooted grace over the uneven terrain. Pale eyes fall upon the trio ahead. She comes to a halt beside two smokey colored mares that surely must be twins by their color and appearance. A single dial flexes backwards as her gaze transfixes upon the two mares before them, perhaps now she would get some answers.
