Geneva had that solid strength about her that he liked. She made it seem like even if she was the only one left standing, she would still pull it off and look better for it. Even though she wasn't built for the Desert, she still thrived and endured and to top it all off, she was going to give him a child soon. He couldn't wait to see the foal they would produce together. He didn't mind entertaining the bay mare as long as she wanted his company. It was nice to be wanted. She was like his rock in this place when everything else was chaos. The others were starting to come around as well but Geneva was his constant. When Primrose showed herself, the paint stallion smiled as Geneva introduced herself and invited the pale mare closer. The palomino paint seemed hesitant but she slowly moved toward them.

He could only wonder what she must think of the other mares in the herd. With his winning personality, what kind of mares would he attract? Probably not the likable kind. But Geneva was his saving grace because she was likable. She was everything he was working to be himself. Finally the paint mare gave her name but her voice sounded nervous. He gave them a chance to look each other over, noting the way Primrose took in Geneva's rounded belly. He hoped she wasn't comparing or anything. He thought all of his mares were beautiful with their pregnant bellies, each able to give him something new and unique in a child. He couldn't wait to see them all.
