Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

bring on the adventure

Yuki seemed more relaxed as they spoke and Eldrax couldn't help but feel like he was helping her with that. Maybe getting all this information off her chest was a big relief to her! He felt glad that he could help her out like that. When she told him about the sky falling, he felt sad, thinking about all those wolves that probably didn't survive. He couldn't help but wonder how there were any survivors at all. He was intrigued, leaning toward Yuki as they walked, his ears straining to hear every word. He had to know what happened! When he asked about survivors, the female blinked at first like she wasn't sure what he'd said, but then her face lit up like he'd done something big and great and his brow lifted in question. What did he do, exactly? Then she pointed out the obvious, that they were here so of course there were survivors.

He already had his next question but then she seemed to ask it herself. How did they survive? He scowled in his disappointment, but not in her, just cause he wanted to know so badly. "So you don't know? Is someone we can ask?" He wasn't giving up that easily. He wanted to know and she did too! Someone around Moladian must know! He furrowed his brow in determination and looked away for a minute. He might try asking his parents, maybe even Nymeria. Maybe one of them had been told the story and might know! Especially since he was supposed to be from old blood, right? His excitement returned when Yuki said that they would explore more. He was quick to brighten up and grin, his tail wagging. "Yay!" He bounced a little on his paws.

As she jogged further along, he loped to keep up with her, laughing too since it was contagious. When she mentioned ice caves, he gasped. "Oh, that would be cool! My grandmother showed me a bear cave once in the mountains! But there was no ice in it." He scowled in slight disappointment, but it was still a cool field trip with his siblings. He wondered about the secret paths and all now too. Yuki then said she used to live in Diveen and he gasped. "So you know some Angels! What are they like?" He watched her scramble up a rock before he leaped to follow, stumbling a little but it wasn't long before he got the hang of it. At least he was a mountain wolf so he could climb pretty much anything. He looked around as they went, checking out their surroundings in case they saw something else interesting.

She brought up the Grotto and he nodded. "It's pretty creepy, but also kind of cool. I've heard there are springs and stuff in there, little magical pools of water." He hadn't seen one but then he'd hardly stepped foot in the Grotto. When she brought up finding something like that in Spirane, he grinned and nodded. "We should discover something! I bet we could!"
