Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

ZEPHYR
Seven - Stalks Pascal - No Mate - Homeless

As Akill had done all those years go, so too, had Pascal. The strawberry wolfess had gone somewhere and left her soul to wander the land aimlessly. Without a purpose, Zephyr felt the claws of his past reaching towards him again, desperate to pull him back into the darkness where he knew he belonged. Perhaps that’s why he roamed the forest. The shade of the trees cut out the light of the fresh spring sun. His white form drifted through the shadows like a ghost as he padded silently onwards to nowhere. Only when a single scent rose from the dozens of others to slap him across the face did he stop. Heart hammering in his chest, he took a deep breath and let it out as a savage growl. Lips parted to show yellowing teeth, the plethora of scars riddling his face stretching grotesquely.

Blackthorne had returned to Moladion.

Zephyr’s thoughts were of Pascal. Through their bond, he could feel her sorrow, but she was safe. Alive. Good. Then the hellhound had not found her. For a moment, the white wolf thought about leaving the forest. The last thing he wanted was to get mixed up with his old alpha again. Fate had other plans. The winds shifted causing the leaves above to shiver with fear. This time it wasn’t just Blackthorne’s scent that wafted into Zephyr’s nose. There was another. A female. Pawing at the dirt in frustration, Zephyr fought with himself. He knew he should have left there and then. And yet he couldn’t. He saw Pascal’s bright eyes and heard her voice telling him to do the right thing.

The dark form loomed over the pale wolf as he emerged from the trees. New scars from poor bastards unfortunate to fall to those murderous fangs. The very teeth that had covered Zephyr’s face not so long ago. Keeping his expression neutral, he approached his former alpha. "You’ve come back." he said simply. He had never cared much for words. His jade eyes only gave the female the briefest of glances. Though she may not know it, he was here to protect her. It was the right thing to do and doing the right thing stopped you from falling back into the darkness… right?
