She listened for rumors but she knew better than to hail even half of them as truth. She was more worried about Zjeena than anything. She hadn't felt right since the Fjord mare left Paradise to go back to Liland. Sure, she knew the mare loved him but she'd also heard rumors that he was changing. He didn't seem so bad when she was in his herd, but maybe he was on his best behavior with her or something. Maybe she just never had high expectations of stallions in general. She was used to a whole different style of stallion thanks for her mother and Rougaru. Monster was glad Zjeena decided to come back though. Now she would get to know the mare more and they could become the united front Paradise and Rougaru needed. She hated that Zjeena didn't get to have all her children with her. She didn't know what she'd do if she was pulled away from her child. When they saw each other, Zjeena pricked her ears before chuckling and telling her she'd feel better after the birthing but it never gets easier. Monster lifted a brow. "You sure know how to break a girl's heart, Zjeena." She gave a little smirk to show she was teasing but she had sort of hoped it would get a little easier after the first time. So much for that. She wondered what it was going to be like to nurse a foal. Would it hurt, having them yank on your teats? Would her body naturally adapt to it? Would she be so caught up in the magic of it that she wouldn't care? One could only hope, but somehow she doubted it. Life didn't usually work like that. As Zjeena turned her own head to look at her rounding belly, Monster smiled. "Guess you don't have that long either." When the mare suddenly exclaimed how fat she was, Monster's eyes widened before she snorted and reached out to nudge Zjeena's shoulder lightly. "Lucky for you, you're sexy when you put on weight." The paint gave a playful wink. "I'm sure you'll be back to fighting weight in no time."
